Managed Actuarial Services

Where you would rather hand over a defined element of your actuarial function than manage the analysts inside it. Afrishore Quant forms a team, runs the work against an agreed scope, and stands behind delivery on cost-effective terms. You retain policy, judgement and regulatory sign-off.

Outsourced delivery, retained accountability

Managed services work where the scope is defined enough to be handed over, and where you would rather buy an outcome than manage the resource. Recurring reporting cycles, IFRS 17 BAU support, experience investigations and reinsurance analytics are common fits.

The Afrishore team runs the delivery, follows an agreed workpaper standard, and produces defined outputs on a fixed cadence. You keep responsibility for assumptions, methodology decisions and regulatory sign-off.

"You do not sign a timesheet. You accept a deliverable. That is the shape of a managed service, and it is what separates it from staff augmentation."

Afrishore Quant. Managed Services Model

Outcome-based delivery with defined governance

Defined scope and deliverables

Statement of work covering inputs, outputs, timing, exclusions, acceptance criteria and change control. Fixed or capped fees available depending on the engagement.

Afrishore-managed team

We assemble the team, run the workflow, cover holiday and sickness, and provide continuity across the engagement. You do not manage individual analysts day-to-day.

Quality on cost-effective terms

Workpaper standards, peer review, qualified oversight and issue logs built in. Escalation paths defined at contracting so problems surface early.

Recurring or one-off

Best fit is either a defined project with a clear end (e.g. an IFRS 17 transition) or a recurring cycle (e.g. quarterly reserving support). We contract to match.

From scope to sign-off

1

Scoping

What is in scope, what is out, what inputs you provide, what outputs we deliver, and on what cadence.

2

Statement of work

Deliverables, acceptance criteria, review points, timelines, commercial terms and change control.

3

Team assembly and onboarding

Named team, access provisioning, data handover, and any client-specific training completed before the first cycle runs.

4

Delivery

Cycle work runs to the agreed cadence. Regular touchpoints, escalation paths open, and workpaper standards followed.

5

Review and evolution

Scope and commercials reviewed periodically. Extensions, changes and exit handled through defined governance.
